Among the most skillful crop cultivators in East Africa is Wachagga of Kilimanjaro, exploring their long history of farming, traditional irrigation canals and cattle husbandry.
These are massive underground tunnels (caves reaching several kilometers) dwellings where the Chagga tribe hide from Maasai warriors during intertribal wars, is where they hide their families and livestock.
