4 Days coffee tour chagga history hike and materuni waterfall
Tour Itinerary:
On arrival, you will be welcomed by our staff. Park your luggage in the tents. Have a cup of coffee then a short briefing.
Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will walking heading to the farm for the coffee tour for which will takes 2 to 3 hours. During the tour you will learn all about coffee from the seed where you will end up by make a cup of coffee in a local way. Thereafter walk back to the camp for the hot local lunch.
After the lunch you will have a chance to experience the chagga lifestyle – Chagga history hike. From there you will visit the Chagga cave where our king used to hide during the tribe war.
Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
This morning, after breakfast you will start walking beside the forest (you are not allowed to enter the forest unless you pay the recommended fees). The walk is for 3 hours.
Having a hot local lunch then going to Materuni waterfall to swim and relax after the long walk.
